You haven't been here when this place was out of control.
Sure, some of us have banned people that didn't deserve it, and some of us have let people off that deserved to be banned- we're all different people, and we react differently to the situations we are faced with. If this place was perfect, we'd all gather around, and discuss in detail who we are coming down on, and for what reason- but that's not possible.

We do what we do- sometimes one of us can step out of line, or go too far- but shit happens. It's an internet forum- when I close firefox, I forget about this place, and I hope that's the same for everyone else on here.

With that said, it's annoying to have members constantly trying to call you out, or whining about what you are or aren't doing. If people have such a strong angst against the moderators, you have the choice to relieve yourself of your membership here- you can simply never come here again....but that doesn't seem to happen- people like to sit here and ***** about anything and everything, but don't have the initiative to go elsewhere...

Sorry if I come off as "trying to call you out" that is not my intention.

I said over a year ago I enjoyed the site and was hoping that it would get a bit more under control and as you said it may have since I have only been here since Dec'05, but IMO it has a long way to go.

It seems the moronic members who thrive on the off topic threads just to relieve daily stress or maybe to just feel noticed outnumber the members who actually want to help and keep this site running smoothly.

My post count is higher here than any site I have ever been on because it is the only site I frequent that I can post the stupid, useless shit I do, cause I know I will get away with it and nobody gives a shit. Is that a good thing, IMO, no but who cares right?

Anyway, we could debate how things should/could be run all day long, you will have your points I will have mine so we will either get nowhere or everywhere, whatever the **** that means.

Good luck and if it really is an issue that I complain about the moderation around here I will stop. If the mods would like me to leave I will, just let me know.

To the extent that has changed it has done so only under the weight of the Federal government. From country clubs to fraterneties white people have fought integration every step of the way. Not to mention schools and churches. Hell, it has not been more than 20 years ago that I saw seperate drinking fountains for whites and blacks at courthouses. You tell me how a black person could expect justice when they see that as they walk into a court room.

Now you silly white people want to act as though we are making discrimination up in our heads -- as if it never happened and is not still occuring on a daily basis.

You guys think we should forget all this simply because you condescend to have a few black people over at your BBQ? Thank you but no. We worked too hard to get to this point and we owe it to our children to be ever vigilant to make certain that their rights are not trampled on.

racial prejudice is alive and well, its never going to go away. the michael richards and don imus is one thing... that's plain ignnorance and stupidity and they should be called out on it... but this case is different, all parties in the jena BS are in the wrong... its just the level of hate and violence cept going up with each incident... it starts with some hillbilly prank and then ends up with someone getting a beatdown. unfortunatly the young punks in todays society still think they have to take care of matters with their fists. not too smart if you ask me.

This thread is rediculous. I'm not racist but I **cking hate thugs. I can't stand them. I was watching the movie Slippin' Away last night about LA street gangs. It's these gang members that create the stereotype for blacks in general. Blood's n Crypts has generated so much anger towards the black population. It's sickening to see these people, they wake up in the morning to fight n hustle. Why can't they get a 9-5 like the normal american? /end thug rant. I wont support the Jena 6 merely because of the fact that there are too many one sided opinions on really what happened with the whole situation. The only thing I care about in this case is that somehow our justice system will prevail to prove it's not totally flawed.
