In fact, normally, this is the time of year when gasoline prices would begin to decline as the markets anticipate Labor Day, usually considered the end of the summer driving season. "We normally see a drop in demand," says Phil Flynn of Alaron Trading in Chicago. "But if prices stay at these levels, we might see gasoline prices go up another 3 to 5 cents a gallon."

gonna stop me from driving if i still wanna afford dinner //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Its all bullshit id love to meet the president just so i could slap him in the face! Its all his way of ****ing the public before he gets the boot from the white house. Lets face it Bush and his family own alote of stock in gas, or oil whatever you wanna call it. So it just so happens to benefit him. I have talked about it at work and have always said if i was able to run fro pres. i would, lets face it what this country needs is some one who is a blue collar average joe running this country. Im willing to bet it would never happen but if it did this country may just fix it self.

funny how anything drives up gas prices. i thought all our oil came from the middle east and they weren't bringing in oil from alaska because of enviromental hazards?
I thought we were saving it, to screw e1 else when theirs is gone //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

I also thought most of our comes from south america? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I thought the price of gas has gone up for the oil companies. Funny how their profits are larger now than ever before //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif gas isnt gonna go up $1-$1.50/gallon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Riots ftl //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I'm seriously thinking about buying a CRX or other small hatchback with a good body and dead engine, and making an electric conversion out of it. Would be the perfect commuter vehicle, maybe only 50 miles to a charge, but for in-town use, it'd be great. Trailer it if I needed to bring it back to NC or wherever.

Definitely looking at that seriously.

Well I just talked to the owner of a BP station and he claimed it could and most likely will jump a dollar or so

That wouldn't be a bad idea.... I may just get a used motorbike on ebay, my friend bought one yesterday for 100 dollars. It goes 35mph and gets 45mpg, which would be perfect for being on campus.

Wonderful. Classes start in a week and I have to drive 45 min each way to class on Tues. and Thurs. It also takes me about 20 min to get to work. I'm gonna start driving my brothers 1990 Accord.
