Attaching MDF Baffle to Fiberglass box

Hi guys,

I'm 2 layers in on my first fiberglass box and things are going well. Can anyone give me ideas on attaching an MDF baffle to the fiberglass enclosure? My enclosure looks very similar to this:

I want the top to be flat and smooth so I can vinyl it (which is why I'm using an MDF baffle), but the baffle will probably have to sit inside the box instead of on top. Because of this, I wouldn't be able to 'glass it on from the bottom.

What about a frame inside the box for the baffle to mount to? There will be a MDF divider that it can sit on for support in the middle.

Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks!

I've not done it......yet, but when I finally get around to building the box to go in my back seat, I'll be making a mold much like the one in the pic. From there, I'm planning to try to mount the rings using some supports and either hot glue or fiberglass jelly. Then stretch fleece or some stretchy material over that to give me the contours i'm looking for.
