after browsing ascendant's website, **** the atlas 15" is only $105!

this seems like a hell of a deal and thinking about scooping on up.

do these things get loud? of course it will be going into a ported enclosure.

any help appreciated.

That deal is loong gone. Ascendant is switching over to a new motor technology and the new Atlas will cost somewhere between $100-$150 but will take another couple of weeks to ship out IIRC. As for their quality, search here or Soundillusions for reviews.
