Anyone know anyone who has it? I get the impression my roomate does. I am not looking to diagnose him or anything because only a doctor can do that, but here are some of his symptoms. For one there is the extreme and I mean extreme difficulty in social situations. Like even talking to me who he has known for a few years now and should be comfortable with he stumbles over his words. Backtracks a lot. And in general does not really have focus when he speaks. And even doing simple tasks I have seen him get extremely tense. Like when he was programming his remote for the garage. You have to drop down a piece of plastic on the unit to get to the programming buttons. It only takes a little pressure, but he put a huge amount of force and just ripped the thing clear off. THis is one example of being tense when doing something simple. He has a massive collection of music (250gb) of mainly heavy metal. He can't tell you the name of an album, but he can tell you the year it was made. Like he won't say Killswitch Engage's The End of Heartache, he will say Killswitch Engage's 2004 album. He does that with all his music. In general with most things he has very little focus and gets overwhelmed very easily. Watching him order a sandwhich at Subway can be painful. Its just seems difficult for him. But with all this he still graduated college so the cognitive ability is not totally lost.

I don't know if these are just quirks or he actually has high level autism.

Sounds like he's scared of you and does not know why your scoping him so hard.

He wants to move out, but signed a lease and is scared you'll hunt him down if he

ditches. jk.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
