Im looking to join one and need information. Looking to find out the danger of each and also the benifits as fas as pay and anything else. Also looking to learn a trade from one or the other that I can make a career of once im out. Anybody with any info?

I knew a guy in the Navy MP and they re-assigned him to bomb duty in Baghdad.

May not be the safest pick.

Well, we are at war so technically, there no safe jobs in the military. Thats the chance you take.

In the Navy now what would you like to know, I would choose air force over both though. I am a Storekeeper in the navy or supply. I have did three deployments in the last 2 1/2 years and will do an Iraq tour for sure withing the next year or so.

there are no real life marketable CAREER skills, except those related to law enforcement. Trust me on this one. If i could do it over, i'd do infantry at first but then go technical skill based MOS

I'm in the Navy right now too and I am also a storekeeper. But I would say go Navy as an IT or an ET, both have alright bonuses. The Navy is probably safer then army. I've been in for 5 years and I have only been on 1 deployment and that was to South America.

dyna I have also been in for 5 but was stationed in Bahrain then did 3 deployments on the USS Enterprise pos ship .
