Been to Tampa and AZ many times. Phoenix hands down, why? Tampa is a decent city but the humidity is killer, plus there are too many retirees driving Town Cars and Park Avenues 10 MPH under the speed limit Both are hotter than the hinges of hell, but Phoenix is much more tolerable and you don't have the crazy storms as Tampa. AZ gets hot, don't let anyone give you the dry heat bit...an open oven is an open oven, you just aren't drenched in sweat after 10 min. Tucson is not that far and it's an awesome city, the views alone are spectacular. If you like outdoors, AZ offers just about everything but it's no Blue Ridge Mountain that's for sure...total 180 but just as enjoying. Honestly I love Tucson the most, the in-laws are in Sierra Vista but that area is still growing...far cry from Tucson and Phoenix but being about 5K in elev, the summers are mild. Phoenix my man....it's actually giving me the itch for another vacation . Yeah there may be some wild party chicks in Tampa, but AZ has some fine women...believe me. There is too much to offer out west, FL has Orlando, Daytona, and Panama City...gets monotonous after awhile...AZ never gets old. Plus....how many times can you get a pic like this in Florida? That's not road heat...verified by a bank and it actually was 122..LOML made me stop taking pics. Pack up the wagons man!
