Ok so i have had trouble connecting to xbox live games sinces i got att dsl. Turns out the problem was my nat was set strict. I try to do port forwarding but it doesnt work because my router is a router/modem and is really outdated...

Well i call att, spend 3 hours on teh phone and the woman doesnt know what teh hell to do so she transfers me to the higher up technical support. They wanted 99.99 to help me figure out just this one problem! That doesn't include any future support.

I just got it 3 months ago... those cheap bastards didnt give me a new one. The people at tech support didnt even have info on it in their computers

Why not try what I did. Youtube your problem description. But I think it worked for me cause it was a less complicated problem

hopefully your router has an option to put an ip in the DMZ, if set the 360's ip in the DMZ and problem solved. nat = open

I had the same issue with DSL and XBL, what kind of errors are you getting? When you do the connection test, what part fails?

a long long time ago i had bellsouth dsl(now att) and i had like the 1.5mb setup. well at one point i decided i wanted to upgrade to the 5-6mb connection that they had. and so i did. well, for 2 months after i upgraded i noticed there was no real change in my connection. so i ran a speed test and found i was only getting the 1.5mb.. so i call them up to have them fix my issue. i went through about 6 different people in 2 days trying to resolve my issue.

each ****ing person wanted me to reboot my modem and computer and shit. everytime i had to explain the whole story that they never upgraded my service from their terminal yet i was paying for it..

I hear ya man... We bought this computer about a year ago and its a HP and we called about a problem and they wanted $50 to answer our question...WTF
