Are the products that stop rattles even worth while??

Without proper application none of them will do any good . Alot of sound deadening is in the prep work and application of said sound deadener. Stopping rattles i.e. metal to metal , or plastic to metal is all just a matter of finding what's hitting together and making it stop.
