Are my goals accomplishable?

I don't think that 150 will be as difficult to achieve as some people are saying. I ended up sealing my box because it wasn't large enough to be ported. (turns out it is like 1.5 cubes smaller than originally thought) Also I was having some terrible cancellation issues but thats another issue. But now I'm 2 SX 15s sealed with 2500 watts firing to the rear in a Grand Prix. If I had to guess just off of listening to it, i'd say im hitting mid 140s with music. Once I glass my trunk and forward fire them with a huge port (still sorta working with Pete Kuliki on port dimension. he makes me feel stupid sometimes though.) i expect to be hitting into the 150s with music in a d/d.

What year is that?

I had a single 18" SX in a 10 cube box, tuned to 30 hz in my 96 Chrysler LHS. It looked awesome, sounded great... but I hit a 140.6 at a little car show.
I'm working with Robin (iamamp3pimp) on upgrading my system and trying to at least hit 150 (although I would of course LOVE louder).

Goals: Want to hit 150, keep my back seats, use it as my daily driver, clean install...

Since the box is already in my trunk and fiberglassed down and everything, I was thinking of getting an IA 20.1 and pushing 2500-3000 watts to an Fi Audio 18" BTL, upgrading my electrical system, sound deadening the car, somehow tuning the box higher, cutting the rear deck to ALLOW THE DBEEZ TO FLOW!!!11

What do you guys think I should do? What would you recommend? I was thinking about two 15's, but we want to keep from doing anything too drastic (like redoing the box) if we don't HAVE to.
I honestly dont see 150dBs on the TermLab happening in your car.

Well, got the 18" BTL and the 20.1

What's next? Battery, fuses and fuse holder and a high output alternator.

I got a few web jobs on my plate right now, so I might be able to afford to run my system at .5 ohms by the next little competition in 2 weeks. Right now it's running series at 2 ohms and it WANGS!

150 here I come. If you don't think I can hit 150, I'm about to prove you wrong! This sub blows the cone off of my SX, it's hitting at least mid 140s right now.

The 20.1 will kill your stock alt. Believe me i know from experience:crying:

Yeah I know, that's what I meant be able to afford to run it at .5ohms... 200 amp Excessive Amperage alternator //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

Still a ton of stuff to do to the system, but getting the electrical system upgraded will play an important role in hitting that 150.

Question about the big 3... do I need to get any special ends for the 1/0 being used? My dad is saying the normal ends you get for the 1/0 will be too big. Have a link to the desired ends?

I would go for more...they are power hogs..unless your getting some batts.

$300 for a 200 amp alternator is **** expensive! I've heard of people getting their 300 amp alts for cheaper... but it's just because of the type of car I have.
Mine was like 400 from E.A. for 250 amps like 2 weeks before the **** gb. Yeah it sucks.
