Are Kinetiks worth it? Prepping system...

Car is a 05 Dodge Magnum battery is located in trunk stock...Going to be installing my new system this weekend, Alpine PDX 4.150 Amp for my comps and Sundown Audio 1000.1 for subs, these amps are fairly efficient so I dont know if Im going to have current draw issues, I already have a 4 month old D34/78 Yellow Top Optima that I was going to replace my stock battery with, its just strange its half the size and has a tad more cca then the stock...I was also thinking of adding an extra 4G power from the alternator back to the battery will help, the stock looks to be about 2G, if that...Im going to definitely add a ground or rerun the stock ground to battery with bigger gauge wire and possibly reground the engine to chassis as well...Do you think I should sell the Optima and replace the stock battery with a Kinetik 1800-2000?

why not a Group 31 Yellow Top? Same size physically as a Kinetik 2400 which may fit for you

I havent really looked into that...I was just wondering if Kinetik is everything that ppl rant and rave about them, I know the lx cars (magnums,300c,chargers) dont have the best electrical setup to begin with thats why I wanted to make sure everything is up to par...

do big 3 In 0/1 and use YT as replacemnt for stock batt.. if issues look into a HO ALT, Iraggi has good prices

No H/O alternator for this car, it has a 160A stock but, the alternator is electronically controlled I guess thats what everyone on the LXforums says, but Im not running a HUGE system so dont know how bad the current draw will be, I dont have any 0G in my shop right now, I was thinking about just running an extra 4G back there and leave the stock 4/2G in place, it could only help...I know the Kinetik 1800 or 2000 is the same size as my stock battery vs. the Optima is 3/4 the size of my stocker but is rated at higher CCA....So I could try to sell the Optima and get a Kinetik or just use the Optima...

Check out REMY battery in South Milwaukee. They have Deka Intimidators for like $150 out the door and it's a group 31...
