are head unit wiring harness universal..pioneer to jvc?

Ok so i found a jvc avx77 but doesntbhave the wiring harness...guy says its 16pin. I have a pioneer p6900ub that has 16pin harness...will the pioneer harness work in the jvc or are the pins different on them all? Please help fast..got about an hr to do this deal.

If it is a good deal, just buy it. I am sure you can gt a replacement harness for the JVC online somewhere.

Harnesses are generally not universal, but - from the pictures on Crutchfield and Sonicelectronix, the connectors do look like the same type - you might get lucky.

Well the problem with buyin it without testing it is idk if it works...im meeting him now there is a wiring diagram in the back of the unit so im just gonna hook it up accordingly not goin by colors
