Arc Vs. Us Amps

yeaaa ya know..just showing if I had the choice, why I would make the decision to go with arc. All ive heard about US amps is POWER POWER POWER!.

On the other hand, ive just heard of arc being a really good quality company that you really cant go wrong with...kinda like Diamond.

Id like to throw in here that the Merlin series uses the same boards as U.S. Acoustics USG series but with hand wound power toroids designed by Dirk Ecker.

When Audionutz suggests to stay away from the New US amps , specially the Merlin line...it must be with reason....not only is he a dealer, a reknown competitor and competition vehicle builder...

the merlin line is a revamped version of the U.S. Acoustics USG.... Dirk just modded it.

I've had nothing but probs with new US amps, especially i.s. line. Steer clear of them and the merlins....the 2500 arc is the key to your happiness...jmho.

he is talking about the 2005 lines (the I/S which is now discontinued) and the 2005 ax's were a little buggy as well.

As for the merlin, whats wrong with the merlin line?? ive heard nothing but praise about it, where are the negative reviews, other than his?
