arc audio, ID, ED

I know that ED and Arc were once made by ID, does anyone know the relationship?

It appears that the ID ID series are very similar to the ED K, but which ARC series is close to those two? I had an ARC ARC 15, and it seemed like it would be more closely related to the O series, and IDspl, but it supposedly has a different motor than the ARC 12 and 10.

Basically i am looking at an ARC 12 and i want to see if it would be an upgrade or downgrade from an ED 13Ov.2 that i already have. I am guessing it is probably more closely related to the K series.

The Arc 15 series uses the same motor as the FlatLine (from what I have heard).

And the Flatline is LIKE an IDMax, but with VERY dramatic differences.
