ARC Audio CLX-r 4150 and 6.5v Pre's

You ARC fans out there

Does anyone know if an ARC Audio CLX-r 4150 can handle 6.5v pre outputs??? Or even 5v??? for that matter.

I just bought me one...in the manual I think they are still talking about 2.5v....

It's fine.

Preamps rated for 5V will only output that much voltage at max volume with a 0db test tone. With music at listening levels, the voltage will be much lower.

That is so right, something just caught me when I was reading a statement and I thought I would ask. I have seen a good discussion that is nearly impossible to have a 6.5v with out some dc to dc converter anyway.

This is my first decent amp...just want to do it right.
