imo it there had to be something way more then that for your experience.

I have no idea what that means. FWIW, I spent my own money on these speakers, but simply could not conquer their inherent shittiness. ID should just call them A Deaf Man's Delight.

FJ when i play my system on high volume the Polk can handle with no problem loud and clear but the Hertz coax running out of control mess up the sound, i have the Polk tweeter on 0- right now, i may have to move them up to +3 that way i can turn the tweeter down, so the Hertz will go down with it

viet i have a set of Polk SR6500 comp up front and Hertz coax on rear run off a Arc Audio 300.4, the Polk can handle very good at high volume but the Hertz sound like they running out of control so what i think i should get a pair of Morel Dotech Ovation 6 for front and move the Polk to rear, i want to know how the Morel sound? are they be better than the Polk or i just replace the Hertz with Focal Polygrass CVX 690? the Focal 6.9 is the best i can find around, any recommend?

the polk SRs are awesome, if your not liking them i say user error.. the new SRs ARE reference speakers...

take the rear fill out and use better placement and imagining. you could also do the polks active and by pass the passive xovers...

yes they sound good but the Hertz is not, i sold the Hertz yesterday, tomorrow i will order a pair of Focal Polygrass CVX690 for rear hope that work out right.
