AQSDC2.5 v.s AQHDC3

I posted a thread earlier about choosing DD over AQ, but thanks to the responses, I've decided to go with AQ, no doubt.

But several of you suggested purchasing the HDC3 series over my original choice, the SDC2.5 series. I picked the SDC2.5's, thinking they would be the optimal AQ series to go with my KICKER 2500 amp. Also, I found the SDC2.5's $159 per/woofer a pretty sweet price.

So, since the HDC3's are about $100 more per sub, what are the definite benefits I would get out of going up in price?

BTW, AQ's website offers the HDC3 (Heavy Duty) Copper Coil-Series, along with the mildly more expensive HDC3 A-Series w/ Aluminum Coils. Which of these do you guys mean by "HDC3"?

HDC3 should be a hell of a lot louder if you're comparing it to the SDC2.5, unless you're comparing two of the SDC to one HDC.

And the aluminum coil should have better handling than the copper coils, i believe. I wouldn't use one SDC for that amp, but one HDC would be about perfect.
