Aq3500d what power do i need?

Just bought two cd ups12-490's off of phatclipse on here and looking at getting an alt, i really dont want to drop 550$ on the dc 270 amp alt for my tahoe, could i run the 190amp dc alt and the two batts and be ok? Or will i need more power? Just looking to do daily not much competing

I would assume the 190 amp alt would be fine, was running around 2k with a stock 75 amp alt and just one stinger spv70 as my secondary and never dropped under 12.5.

i have a 3500d in my envoy....i use an ohio generator 250 amp alt, an interstate megatron, and a redtop optima and the only time i drop voltage is when im at idle

i got the 190amp from dc power already should be here wensday and my 2 cd ups12 490 batts should be here next week also
