aq2200 on hdc3 15?

i am looking for more than the aq1200 but i am affraid 2200 might be too much? will it? also are there any other amps you might recommend in between the 1200 and the 2200? i dont want to be reconing. thanks btw my box is 3.75cf @ 34.5hz thanks . i couldnt find much info on this. also this is for daily pouding on music. i want to be able to run it for a while at a time not like 5 mins and then have to shut it off to cool.

In a box that size the HDC will take that amp all day "assuming" gains, etc... are set correctly. I'd tune higher though...

Yes it will be louder. But depends on alot of things how much louder.

HDC3 would love the 2200. And will be begging for more than 1200 watts, but 1200 should move it.

Wow....this is the first time time in a WHILE that someone has asked this type on question and hasn't gotten flamed within the first 5 posts.....Congrats all ca.com members.....

Anyways.....here is what I think about the situation.....

I think that 1200w is too little and 2200w is kind of pushing it.

So I'd say find you an amp that meets like half way in the middle like the kicker zx1500.1 or the hifonics bxi1608d....both pushing you about 15-1600w and at a fair price or any other amp that is around that 15-1600w mark that may interest you.

Good luck man. Those HDC3's are AWESOME subs.....
