Alright i plan on getting 2 of the AQ HDC3's but i cant decide which version to get.

"The Standard HDC3 is optimized for the best combination of great sounding loud Everyday Street beating. for those who want an all out SPL machine flat wound Aluminum wire coils designed for maximum power handling and SPL applications are available as a low cost option."

With this quote taken from the AQ site, has anyone heard both versions of these? Do you really lose a lot of quality when you go with the aluminum and how much rms do you lose by going with the copper?

Also I've read that the HDC3 can go really go 1500 rms continuously is this true or an axaggeration and with that being said whar would be a good amp with price bein in consideration for these subs? (besides the AQ 3500D)

Also i have a G35 do you think 2 15 or 2 12 would be more ideal for my car in a ported box? I'm thinking the 2 15 might not be able to fit into the proper box.

g35 sedan or coupe i just did a install in a coupe and there is no room in the trunk might be able to do 12's but 10s would be more realistic. and the subs will take 1500 all day im pushing an aq 3500d to my copper hdc no problems at all.

i know its probably not as much as its rated at, but i built box for guy here for aq hdc315 copper with a hifonics 2610d on each. Its rated at 2600 x 1 at 1 ohm and it sounds awesome. I also built box for 2 hdc312's with 1 2610d on both of them and it sounds good also

it's a coupe. How big of a box do u think I can fit. In y civic I had about a 4 sqft box walled off tuned @40 hz. And I was thinking of doing the sane thing again except tuning much lower. I heard these liketo be around 36-38 is this true and what have u guys tuned yours at?
