Aq Hdc3 12"

Im buying a 12" HDC3 in few weeks and will build a 2.5net box rear firing at-37-38hz with 3" wide port and using a AQ1200d to power it. Dimensions are 35"Wx14"Hx15"D. I was wondering if anyone knew off hand how much one weighs? and would i need a double baffle for sure? or would a single baffle be fine? Also im gonna use all-thread for bracing most likely and was wondering if one say .75" piece front to back would be enough or two would be necessary? planned on two but also could use the 5$ on mcdonalds or BK for the build day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Is bracing the top to bottom necessary as well? using like 2x2's or dowels?

my hdc3 that was just sent to me like 18 days ago was marked 40lbs. id say the box plus the driver woiuld almost weigh 100lbs. and i just used .75 mdf and didnt double any sides.

If you use a slot port that's all the interior bracing you need IF you DOUBLE the baffle. The HDC312 weighs a hair under 50 pounds

hmm 40lbs that seems light enough not to use a double baffle

ya i thought it would weigh more but the box they shipped it in said it was 40lbs

If you use a slot port that's all the interior bracing you need IF you DOUBLE the baffle. The HDC312 weighs a hair under 50 pounds
