AQ hd3 chrome?

i will be trading shortly for an hd3 and through pictures I noticed it seems to have a chrome backplate. Most of the hd3s i've ever seen weren't chrome. I asked the guy i'm trading with and he said it could be chrome and it's very shiny.

Did AQ ever use chrome backplates/top plates?

i'll try to get pics for examples shortly.
