AQ 1200D Randomly shuts off

A friend i built a box for has matching AQ HDc and 1200d amp and the amp goes off at random but when it does this*** no protect light comes on just shuts off completely could this be a faulty ground or just ohm load? *didn't have time to test with DMM

Test with a DMM. Check the ground and the remote wire.

Otherwise call DJ and I'm sure he can walk you through it.

Does your head unit shut off too? Or just the amp?

2. Better ground maybe

3. Check all other connections before asking anything else.

yea its a badass sub but they cost too much for what ur getting i got mine extra cheap from some family otherwise i wouldn't b running it

Yeah they are costly for sure. My boy traded an X-box for his so.. Hehe.

might wanna make sure that the remote wire doesn't have a break in the insulation somewere randomly grounding out.

im tellin ya check the deck... i just had the same problem.. got a new kenwood headunit and bam problem solved...could be a differnt situation for you, but id say if ur deck is older id def. replace

check wires first, could also be a broken solder inside the amp too. is the amp mounted to the sub box?
