Hey everyone, ive got a question about running my aq1200 at .5 ohms. I know it states on the website its only stable down to 1ohm ive heard/read alot of people have gotten it to .5 daily with the right electrical. right now i have a yellow top =/ under the hood about 30ah. i also have a little bit bigger alt but not by much, 90 is stock i think this is 110. Now i plan on getting a bigger bat for the trunk something thats equivalent to a hc 2000. Should this be enough to keep the aq amp running at .5 daily and should i use a battery isolator because they are diff batts? also i am running an aq 4x90 for the components. and i do have 1/0 running to the amps now with big 3 done.

With a 110amp alt, 1/0 throughout, and adding something along the lines of a HC2000 in the rear, I think you should be OK. The batts should be able to stop the voltage drop, and I highly doubt that voltage will drop lower than mid-upper 12's.
