Just spoke with Brad at Digital Designs and we have finalized our dates for the 1st ever comps to be held at DD. On Apr 16th we will be hosting a 1x test and tune event to get everyone use to the StreetSPL Format with a $10 entry and 1st thru 3rd place medals.
On Apr 17th we will be hosting a 3x event which will be fully sponsored by Digital Designs with new demo vehicles on hand and prize givaways. This event will cost $30
Please note that StreetSPL is a 100% music only spl competition and we will also be hosting these events along with the Southwest Street Rod Nationals car show going on.
This event has been postponed due to another event conflict and we will hopefully have a new date soon
I wonder why Brad chose to do StreetSPL over any of the larger organizations? No offense to Street SPL by any means at all...just thought they would go large for a first show.

He never said the event was open/booked. It is postponed. I still don't get why they choose such a small audio corporation for their first show. DD fully backs StreetSPL because it is a fully musical format only and also Jassa and Steve helped create some of the classes and rules for the organization 3 years ago. So I guess you could say that StreetSPL is how DD would want an SPL comp to be done if they were running it (to an extent anyway). We all know there is no perfect way to do them
Very true..Have you talked with Brad lately about this show or is it still limbo?
Still in Limbo there was a big issue with another comp org for the date DD had chosen since there was another event close by the same day so we are trying to figure something out.
