I have a motherboard from a 32gb 3GS iPhone which still has the $100 autofocus camera attached.

This phone still has 6 months of applecare left!

For $62 you can build a 3GS phone except for the LCD. That's the $100 part. Then add this MOBO.

Have a water damaged 3GS? This is your fix! Drop it in and be back in business with the biggest iPhone of them all.

I have personally used this Mobo for a week solid to test it, it's mint with NO water damage, the sensors are in perfect shape.

~ a really nice Nav headunit (I have an Eclipse avn5500 right now, not nice enough).

~ Cash, green, money, $450-ish. That's the cash discount.

I take it this wont fit a 3g 8gb case?

It will FIT, but the connections are different for the LCD and the bottom flex cable connector is different as well. Apple made sure you weren't gonna pull that trick easily. You'd need a complete 3GS LCD assembly and flex cable for the lower dock. Given the prices of the 32gb 3GS it's still cheaper by a good bit, but... eh. I'm biased because I already have my 32gb 3gs so I'm not interested in building another one personally. Hence the sale.

$176 or less (bargain shop) will build a 3gs phone, then drop the mobo in. I know the $25 case can be had for $15 shipped I've seen it. You're only at $48 before the LCD. $38 if you find the $15 case I have seen. That way everything is brand new.
