Hey I know it's been forever and a day since you replied to my question and I'm sorry that I didn't respond sooner, but I got caught up in alot of none since on another forum and just forgot about it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifOriginally posted by bean That's one I haven't heard in a long time. But why? The thoughts behind those were small enclosures. Just about every speaker available now fits nearly no air space at all. What are you doing? And I'll try to help.
Mind posting that link up over here? Have not heard from or seen anything about these in ages and am a bit rusty on the concept myselfOriginally posted by DARKHART Hey I know it's been forever and a day since you replied to my question and I'm sorry that I didn't respond sooner, but I got caught up in alot of none since on another forum and just forgot about it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I've been involved in the car audio business in one form or another on and off for almost 15yrs, and the aperiodic enclosure was an area that had always been a mystery to me and I've always wanted to build one for myself just to see how they sound and perform. Shortly after I posted the question I found a link that explained the concept and how to build and tune one.
Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.
P.S. I haven't built it yet due to time constrants, in your opinion how do they sound bass wise compared to conven. sealed box's of today, will they perform just the same?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Flatter response, lower response, improved impedance curve... No space consumption...Originally posted by bean That's one I haven't heard in a long time. But why?
