forgot my open firmware password and i need to boot osx disc to re install //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif .. is there any way to get it back besides removing ram?

that I am not sure of, did you call Applecare?

Remove your ram and reset the PRAM 3 times (Command + Option + P + R) and then put your ram back in.

either that or use the reset password utility on the OSX install disc when you boot up holding the C key.
