Anyone have any knowledge of big tires? I need new tires on my truck ASAP (one shredded) and not sure what to get.

For the price, Im thinking these are the way to go. From the reviews, they seem to have nice ride on the road, but still be able to deal with some dirt and mud.

Im looking for something around 38-40" tall, by 15-15.5" wide, with a 20" wheel.

2000 Excursion 7.3l. In these pics, it has 36" tires on it. They look way too small. Maybe some Toyo Open Country MTs? Ive read some good reviews on those.

And this is the start of the stereo build. Some 15s and 12s in the doors.

i run 37x12.5 x 20 on my rig

mine are BFG MT KM2

they are somewhat loud, but not bad compared to alot of other MT tires out there.

Honestly, if your looking for a good tire thats quiet and gets good milage.. look at the Toyo open country.

i have heard numerous times nothing but good thigns from peopel who owned these tires.

Me personally i will most likely buy another set of the BFGs as i have a brand new spare i never mounted..

if i decide to go another route, it would be with the Toyo's tho.

the IROK M16 tires look pretty decent also.

they are still somewhat new-ish, but i have seen them in person and the owner had good things to say

i run the swampers on my 75 blazer.the bias tires arent that good tho .they get flat spots when sitting over night and will have to warm up before they go back to being round.also the bias ply tires dont last very long ,life span wise, swamper makes a sst which i think is a radial tire ,also at dick cepek ,thornbirds, and the toyo

God damn that is a huge fucking beast. The fuck you need that in Florida for? You drive to Cuba?
For parking lot pimpin, mane.

Nah, I always wanted a big diesel truck, and always liked Excursions, so I figured what the heck. Anyway, thanks for the info guys. Im definitely leaning towards the Toyos.

BFG km2's, Toyo opencountry MT, Goodyear Duratrac. Those are 3 good tires that will last a little while on a lifted truck. DO NOT get bias ply tires. And I have been through countless sets of tires on lifted trucks, this is how I know.

Out of all the off road tires i have owned BFG and Mastercraft have been the best. BFG's are pricey but lasted the longest, Mastercraft were the best for the money though my last set of mt's were going on 3 years of daily driving and still had about 3/4" of tread when my truck got wrecked. Swampers are very good off road but last like shit on road.

Edit: forgot all about these a friend just got a set on his chevy and they really really surprised me at how beefy they are and they ride very very well.

The Toyo Open Countrys we have on the Excursion work well. they are 35's though. Those TRXUS tires are junk, and you definitely don't want Bias ply on a truck you'll be driving on the road a lot. I wouldn't recommend anything from Interco for something that big, they wear out quick on stuff like Toyotas and Jeeps, I could only imagine how quick the Excursion would wear them.
