The best place to buy vinyl is at a fabric shop. Not the Rag Shop, but a real fabric place. The fabric is 54" wide and you can buy as many yards as needed. Great selection of colors and tectures. About $15 - $20 a yard. I just went through a box build and the vinyl would have worked except the face of the box was not flat. My friends dad is a cabinet maker and he went a little overboard with the edges and he built in a raised JL logo section in the face. Well, it all went well until we tried to get it to fit around all the edges. Even with mad stretching and a heat gun!! After spending an hour, we backed up and used fabric...much easier;) If you build a box with a flat surface the vinyl should work like a dream. Probably look a lot better than fabric, too. Do NOT use the enviromentally safe contact cement (green). I bought a gallon of it at Home Depot and it does not have the sticking power to hold fabric to wood. Stick with the red can or even better go with the 3M spray. Good luck:cool:
