Anyone ever think of this..car body on a gyro?

You know how on BMX bikes how the gyro allows the front wheel to spin without getting screwed up? Well what if you put the body of the car, like the frame, on a gyro and left the bottom part of the frame regular, so you could look like you were moving sideways, but you were going straight.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

that would be pretty much impossible, you'd have to design a car from the ground up to do that. The engine would have to stay in the same place in the frame, and the steering column is through the cab, it would be hard to spin the body around that... Why would you want to anyway.

to go straight and make it look like Im drifting.

actually I dont know, just bored.

wouldnt it be cool though?

That's a different kind of gyro, those use a spinning wheel to keep from falling over. He is talking about the kind of gyro in a BMX bike, which allows the handlebars to spin around without the brake cables being tangled up.

I know, I just saw that earlier today when a friend at school showed me the link. I thought since it was almost the same people would like it.
