anybody use an alpine cda-7863

So the scammer in my sig sent me a box with an alpine cda-7863 in it (instead of the amp I paid for) with no cage, trim ring, wiring harness, nor remote. I don't even know if it works. I'm wondering if its worth buying the wiring harness and cage to use in a project car since the scammer won't send me the amp I actually paid for. Anybody use this deck? It has nice reviews on carreview.com, but I wondered if anyone here used it and had opinions. thanks

a few years ago i bought on used on ebay. i never had any problems with it from what i can remember. i used it for a year.

after i sold it to my brother it lasted a another 6 months or so and the he told me the slidng/tilt motors where starting to go out.

i never had any problems with mine. the faceplate could have been desgined better but that isnt nothing.
