someone local to me used to rent one. youd leave a $150 deposit with $20 rental charge for a day or something. i guess you guys can do that. have him send the funds keep them in your paypal and then refund them when you get it back. make some kind of agreement though and have both of you sign it. and both have copies.

I don't care to make any monies from this. A third party person can hold the price of a DD1 HV (and CC1 if you need it) from amazon until I get it (or them) back. You would have to pay for shipping to and from with insurance. So the only real money you would be out is shipping both ways with insurance. If mylows wouldn't mind he could hold the said monies or someone of his stature.

i use to rent mine out for $30 for 5 days after it's been received. that $30 covered shipping to and fro renter. I stopped doing it b/c too many people were keeping it longer than they were suppose to or trying to keep it. you're best bet is to go on the SMD forum and they have a tool map than find someone local.
