theres a TON of info online on how to use a DMM. I think its stickied somewhere around here.

I will be there in May. Sorry cant help now. I grew up in Boone Trail area. Between Lillington and Sanford.
Dang man that would be perfect but its so long away. I can't find any shops around here that set gains with oscope or such. I'm sure I could do It on my own I just don't wanna pay 170+ dollars for a oscope I'm probably only gonna use once.

Dmm and O scopes are different... You can get a Dmm from wally world for less than 20 bucks.

You don't need a f'n O scope you use a Dmm if you want really accurate you can use an O scope but, a Dmm will get you close enough.

Square root of power times resistance. Flatten my eq, volume 3/4s or so and adjust gain until I reach that number right? What kind of tones should I play for mids and high amp vs sub amp

Depends on the crossing but, Mids 60 (maybe), 100, 500, 1k Highs 4k, 6k, 8k

You don't have do use all of those but I would use two of each.

Would also look at when your head unit clips on the internet unless you want to set it at a lower volume.
