Anybody have a '97 to '03 grand prix?

I was wondering how hard it is to install an hu in this vehicle? On crutchfield it says i will need to cut out or unbolt an old bracket. Has anyone done this? Is it very hard?

It's very easy. You only need to remove a rear support bracket if you want to flush-mount the head unit. If you use a 1/2" extension kit removing the bracket isn't necessary, and it doesn't look bad.
