Actually wrong, the family who owns the company I work for are lebanese and syrian and this discussion came up a few weeks ago actually and their preferred method is a bucket of water (I guess this is because bidget's aren't found in the US). Arabs view using tp and wiping to be dirty and spreading the poop around vs washing it off.

both of you are wrong, its dependant on where you are in the middle east. Like where I was at in Oman an Qatar, they have and use normal fucking toliets with a roll of TP next to it just like here. They do have a spray hose thing if you wanna do a reach around bidet. Now that doesn't go the same for Afghanistan, where you are actually IN one big toilet.
