Researched the problems and I believe these are the problematic revisions of the amps. All the symptoms are here. Turn on pop. Weird delays. And a blown speaker. He is gonna email Steve. He found a post on diyma from Steve himself stating he would fix all of the problematic amps free of charge. It was a driver issue. Almost all of them had bad driver ic's

let us know what happens after it's fixed. No need for all the JL lovers to come in here and assume that the JL is better than Zed amps in every aspect.

Believe me , I won't let that happen. Lol. I own 5 amps built by Mr. Mantz right now and I will take any of them over jl's best amp. Zed is quality. This problem was a manufacturing defect from the parts supplier. The supplier shipped steve over 7000 dollars in ICs for free because of this problem. And he is fixing every amp effected by this issue. **** JL!

Booyah! I told you! That very reason was why I didn't get he first Gen Levi, all those issues have been fixed in the later revisions.

Those amps are very nice, pricey but nice!

That's my little bros biggest beef. I have 1000 watts less than him and Half the amount of speakers and garbage subs yet I'm sounding off better and the sq is there but it's not there in his ride. And for 1000 dollars worth of amps you would think he would be sounding pretty nice but it's not happening right now. Hopefully I can come back to this thread and give news on how amazing these amps are once Steve fixes them.

I heard a lot of the Slash amps back when they were new and remember them being very loud but sounding very hollow or not warm.
