Any tips for gaining some HP's ?? sunfire gt 01

hey guys i'm looking for a little nice upgrade in sound for my 01 sunfire GT ( the 2.4

twin cam one ) i don't want a loud *** exhaust that will sound like i have a v8 loll

just something for enjoyable I've looked up on some parts selling sites but i'm a

little bit lost when it comes to what exhaust part should i buy exactly so .. ? and

also if you guys know any upgrades exept exhaust line i can do to gain some

FYI.........a shitbox 4 banger with a fart tip does NOT sound like a v-8. Personally I wouldn't waste any $$$ on that car as it'll never be fast. It's just transportation, so treat it as such...

Just put a stock exhaust back on the car. Then save up and purchase the car that you REALLY want.

OBX exhaust has some decent tone to it........had an OBX on my z24 and it sounded nice - no fart can noise!

K&N air filter would help out a little maybe, how much horsepower do you wanna gain? What's your budget?

budget would be like 600 for the exhaust and for the rest it all depends on the gains i can

get ... but i wont get as far as en engine swap or turbo whatever it doesnt worth it .. but if

This forum is full of dipshitz lately... =/

Usually the main power upgrades are intake and exhaust.

You could also look for a pulley kit.

Not sure what else there is out there for your car.

if you put a pulley kit on its gonna slow down your alt though, look on the mantapart website

thanks for those who replied respectfully ... i do know my car isnt THE car ... but its

my first car and i'm still in high school and i'm plain happy with it and for 2k$ with

only 130k km no rust nothing its a good deal IMO even if it's a GM.. i just want to

make it a little bit more enjoyable on a daily basis and getting to know the basics of
