have a Remington hair clipper with vaccum for 5 years

before that was a Wahl you could buy at any safeway. gaved it away to my bro and it still works

got both for under $40 each new

well guys i just bought me the andis master off of amazon 93 with guards

I cut my own hair but don't know anything about clippers. I just use a set my dad gave me. It's old as hell but they work fine. Not sure what makes the difference between a cheap set and a nice set, just needs to cut the damn hair...

lubricant oil is essential for good operation of the blades. use it well and when its needed. hair clippers can last a long time.
