I've played with it for a good amount (I installed it on our soundboard the other day). It's a pretty nice radio, the only downside IMO is the lack of a motorized face. It looks awesome when it's on.

We sell it for $269. I believe Crutchfield has it for $259? They're going for about ~$240 on Ebay shipped- I'd spend the extra $30 and get it from a dealer.

our screen went out on ours today... i'd ask around and find more people with that unit... the thing's been on display for like a week now and the screen is already bad... definitely get it from a local dealer with a warranty

lol... we have that sweet esa radio in our shop... every customer sees it in our shop and wants 2 buy it... but ours is the only one i've seen last more than a week or 2... prolly cuz it's not using it's own deck power lol

I purchased the 7700MP this past weekend and got rid of my 8400MP. I have to say, I love it!! I no longer have to worry about a stupid motorized faceplate that only wants to open when it feels like it(8400MP was serviced 4 times and still was wacky). The list button on the 7700MP is great, you can scroll through all of your MP3 folders instantly with little to no delay at all. A disc begins to play in no time after being inserted, doesnt even have to think. Also works better on alot of cheaper media. The only thing I don't like is the lack of a pause/mute/att button on the faceplate itself, you have to either use the remote or go into one of the control menus to pause. Other than that, for the price I feel that its a great bargain.
