Not really. If I was going to spend $500 on sub n amp is get a American bass ph4000 for $200 bucks and then some American bass TNT or xfl woofers, and maybe ssa dcons or IA cheaper woofer,

Depending on what vehicle u have and how loud u want, if I was really looking for budget build I'd get the ph4000 amp and then a bunch Of sundown E 15 v1 from yard sale for like $68 each.. They are A stock that a vendor never took so all in working order. Cone area for the win.

I drive a 2011 honda civic si coupe and im upgrading from 2 12in kicker base model comps. I have them in a pre fab box. With a massive n2 nano block amp. whats so wrongnwith kicker or mb quart? My comps lasted like 4 years and so did the amp. Im not looking for nothing crazy or for spl competition, im just looking for something a little more, as the kickers and the n2 are both dead now lol.

Yea the 2 12in kickers and the amp are dead lol, and im looking for an upgrade. I'm not really sure whats good these days and i was feeling lazy about trying to match up a good 2 12in subs and amp so I was just looking at combos. But if yall know of anything thats better plz lemme kno. And yea im at about the $500 range.

Yeah dude, if you even mention kicker on these forums you will get mad roasted. Much better stuff for the money. Soundqubed is pretty **** cheap and make good stuff, American bass, Sundown, etc. can get much more bang for your buck. Now when it comes to amps, if you go with those amps youll be spending more, but they're great amps. If you want cheaper and budget Precision Power is a good budget one.

Ok thanks for the input. I now I did some research and the soundqubed subs are getting really good feedback, but im not sure which ones I would go with the HDS200 12in or the HDS300 12in.

It depends on your budget for your amp after you settle on subs. A single hds312 would do well on about 1000-1200wrms, in the proper custom box. Might surprise you.

Well i am thinking im leaning more towards 2 of the 12in subs so what do you think a good amp would be?

Everyone always wants two 12's. If you have that kind of space, just get one better quality 15. You will save money and/or get a higher quality product. Also, there will most likely be less rise (because there are less coils) and you will get more power out of your amp.
