Any loud rangers?

buddy has a ranger we are going to put 2 18" mts in on a d99 @ 18v. Womndering what box styles you guys got loud with. Want to do decent at headrest. going to be tuning fairly low for meca. I had luck messing around in my full size with an s10 style box but i turned it up where subs up port back and kept box few inches off the wall and gained almost 2 db from subs fwd port up. Fixing to build him a box just want to get some input from someone who knows

my buddy has a Solo x 18 d1 going in his x-cab ranger, sub forward port pass side, two SoundStream Rubicon 2500d's strapped to it. Its a work in progress since it hasnt been above freezing in this stupid state for like 2 months straight.

Yep, pretty much like most trucks. Sub forward port up. You may be to play around with port placement to find which meters the best for the application.

yeah Oakfield is up by Houlton, thats a loooooooooooooong way up there. I know its an easy 3+ hours from me in central Maine up to that area. Anyone got a long range missle they want to fire up?

for usaci... meters good in the kick that way.. for head rest need to stack subs on one side or maybe subs forward and port downfiring. the s10 style box was my worst box for meca. I went to that box and gained 4 db in kick and headrest score was within .1 .. got to get subs up high.. just wonderin if anyone had tested different port placements

My 99 s10 did best in the kick with subs forward and port on the dirvers side up, did best off the dash with subs forward and port up across the back.(156+ on each)

ya.. subs on passenger fwd port on driver side up is best for usaci .. cant satck these 18s i think might do suba up port firing down

I didn't stack my 15s or my 12s. I did try subs up but wow did that take up a ton of room for 15s lol.
