Central Region any interest in a STL meet?

well looks like this meet is screwed now. the new law passed on car audio in st. louis so were screwed. so lets make it down at the lake of the ozarks and have some down here. theres cheap hotels and all kinds of places to bump and cruise. so what do ya say??? move the meet or delete the meet???

Actually, its not a new law yet... Its a purposed law and its like the 4th or 5th time its came up... Thankfully, it keeps getting defeated...

Also, this ""Law"" is for the ""City of St. Louis"" Not all of Missouri or even all of St. Louis...

The Bigger part of St. Louis, is in the St. Louis County Areas...

North County, West County and South County....

Geographically or boundry wise St. Louis is kinda hard for out of towners to understand as its so broken up and compartmented...

You can start on one road and drive for 15 minutes and pass through 6 neighborhoods (Riverview, Glassow, Bellefountain, Spanish Lake, etc.. etc..)

Lastly, I would not advise any of you comming in to be going and driving around downtown in St. Louis City anyway.. Driving around down there bumping and showing off, will surely get you jacked and maybe shot...

Lets talk more about the actual agenda of the meet anyways...

What type of a place would you guys want it at???

I suggested Hooters, there is on Centrally located in Westport right off the main Hiway (Interstate 270 and Page Ave)

What time would everyone get there? How long does everyone plan on staying, do you want to go anywhere else?

What all would go on?

Would people be looking for Hotels to stay the night or weekend???

That Hooters I mentioned has one in the same Parking lot, that'd be kinda convienient...

Depending on how many people were comming, I might be ablee to go in there and ask about getting a group rate or something...

We've done that before...

Can we get a show of hands how many people are actually serious about comming to this???

Also, we have a group called the St. Louis S-Series Owners Group, thats mostly guys with S-10s, Blazer, S-15s, Jimmys, Colorados, a few Syclones and Typhoons, etc.. from all over St. Louis, outter areas and the guys from right across the river in Illinois.. I could prolly get a bunch of those guys to roll in...

dude i lived in st. louie for 18 year i know my way around and the different countys. im rollin the dime too, i was going to sign up for the gruop but i had to move this summer so it didnt work out.

i think something like a state park would be tight to. like babler state park is the shit to drive around in bumpin then go bbqin and drinkin

well the billed passed. get this even stock systems are not allowed on some cars lol. ridiculous. the dealers cant sell veliches on the lot that disobey laws, if they do they get fined BIG time. they say new York and chic town are next for the ban

Hey guys u can always come down to Columbia. We have a hooters now and shitloads of hotels. Everyone bumps here. Well u can get a ticket but its a no biggie.

thanks docutech. ya i know it was in the city but chances are the counties with follow shortly. i dunno where it is on the net but it was in the post dispatch mmmmm 3 days ago. they say it "passed" but slay has to sign it. so it may not be ineffect but it defenitly passed

Columbia's fine. and also anybody wanna get a comp. team started for this season or next season??? i want to go to comp.s this year but i think it will be very cool if we could get a team together to help each other out while at comps and have some veterans help newb competitors like me out. any one interested???
