Any good community Colleges Around You?

After jumping around college choices, i'm starting to think that a community college is going to be the smart thing for now, just because its so cheap.

But I have a sudden urge to go to one thats not anywhere near Missouri. Any good ones around you guys to suggest? Maybe an audio shop near by to work at?

youre not going to save any money by going out of state because out of state tuition is jacked (can be almost doubled)

Nashville State. There are a number of audio shops pretty close to there.

BCC - brevard community college... we have ties with all the universitys close by (ucf usf fsu, ect) and once you take 2years and get your AA the university has to accept you

Going to a community college out of state kind of defeats the purpose.

We have Cape Fear Community College here. Also 4 or 5 Audio Shops in town here.

Pretty decent location, within 10 minutes of the beach if you like that. All the clubs and bars you could ever need.

i didn't even know that you had to pay out of STATE for community colleges, i just thought it was out of DISTRICT, which here is only a difference of like 40 dollars a credit hour

Valencia Community College in Orlando is a pretty solid one.

Good name too, links with UCF for a "Direct Admission"

Valencia Community College #1 community college in the nation...duh...out of state tuition will screw you, as mentioned above...

i just looked on one of our better community colleges website...

in state tuition: $3130

out of state tuition: $5600

Yeah here's what you are looking at for out of state tuition, it's pretty rediculous and I suspect most other places are gonna be similiar.

Brookdale Community College near me has ties with Rutgers. Very respectable for a community college.

man,,,

i understand your financial considerations but take it from someone with multiple degrees, you will not regret going to a known and recognized university in the long run. ESPECIALLY if you do not plan on grad school.
