Always keep ur Eyes down or ull pop up and top the ball .. Keep ur knees at the same place from the first to the last of ur Swing.. Always Swing threw it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
This is Phat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif I think I need to get some lessons from you. I used to shoot in the 80's, but my swing is all messed up now and I shoot in the 90's and low 100's. I have a big problem with hitting shots that slice really bad. My driver is even worse, b/c a lot of hte time I hit a slicing low line drive that goes about 30 yards and slices/dives into the ground. That has is the biggest reason my score is so much higher now. I went from driving the ball 275-325 yds down to 100 yds after the roll. So most times where I'd be using a pitching wedge or 9 iron to reach the green, I now have to use a 3 or 5 iron to make up the distance I've lost. Not to mention I'm usually not in the fairway after I hit the drive. I'm pretty good with the 7-iron up through the Sandwedge. But anything lower than the 7 iron I tend to slice my shot real bad.

Well i know On ur irons.. like 3-6 Keep it in the front of ur stance and swing easy i cant hit my 3-6 at all but when i do its when i get in the front of my stance and always keep ur hands up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif thats awesome that yall golf! haha i like helpin people //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but slices **** i dont really get them more guys do then girls..

golf is the wussiest sport ever bye far the ghey s sport ever for queerues
That's because you have poor hand eye coordination and no finesse...plus you have a bad attitude //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I just picked up a set of used Titleist DCI forged 701's for this season. Hopefully I can keep it in the fairway...when I do I play to about a 7. I just don't play enough or practice like I used to in order to score like I want to. Plus it's getting WAY too expensive to play nice courses often.

About 2 years ago I was golfing like mad. I became so expensive, but at the end of summer early fall I was getting pretty good. Was shooting low 80's on 18 and lowest I ever got was a 38. Not bad considering that was the year I started. It kinda just came natural to me. I have only been golfing maybe 3 or 4 times in the last year though. I just dont have the golfing buddies like I used to and hate going by myself. So once I find a golfing buddy I might get back to it.

I also used a cheap set of Arnold Palmer clubs. Got full set plus bag at super K-mart for like 120 bucks, ahaha!

I do however have a ping putter that is like 100 bucks itself. Go figure right!

Driver-Taylormade 320ti (got a titleist 983k that i have yet to try out)

3 wood-Taylormade Supersteel

Rescue Club-Weird Vulcan prototype thing

Irons-Mizuno T-zoid Pros

Wedges-Cleveland Tour Action 900 (56 degree), off brand gap wedge

Putter-Ping IsoForce

Bag-Ping Hoofer

Ball-Either Pro V-1 (usually X's) or Nike Ones

Usually shoot in the mid 40's for 9, high 80's for 18. (best 9 to date is a 39, best 18 is a 82)

I went to the driving range the other day, I was a bit rusty at first. I had a problem with picking my head up all the time, but once i took care of that i was hitting pretty much every club very pure. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif My driving has improved much over the past year or so. My favorite club is my 5-iron. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I just started playing again, but before I was shooting around 45 on 9 and never really played a full 18. My swing has improved alot since then, and Im starting to play again. I hit from whites at the course I played the other day, small private course which is $5 to ride 9 holes, and I didnt use an iron below 7 except on the par 5's. I can kill the irons though, especially the low ones. I just have to work on my short game since I havent played in about a year. I love Noodle golf balls, but currently I just use some cheaper Nikes I got at Hibbetts on sale. My favorite club right now would have to be my 3 iron.

And until I get to where my game is more stable, Im just using my dads clubs.

Callaway Big Bertha Driver 7.5*

Callaway X-14 Irons

TaylorMade Nubbins Putter

I dont really use woods though, since I can hit the low irons and be more accurate.

I wish I could hit my irons good. Hitting with the woods most of the time can be very interesting, lol!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Before I quit playing, I could kill the woods and they would be accurate, but I hit a 3 wood Sunday and it had a horrible slice. But then again so did my drive, but Ive corrected it so maybe its just because my swing was a little loose. When I sell some of my car audio stuff, I think Im going to invest in some Titleist 762s off ebay since I read some reviews which said they are just a little longer than the

X-14s and dont roll alot, both of which I like.

im a lot better at hitting my 3, 4, 5 irons than my 7,8,9 irons cuz im tall and those **** shorter shafts screw me up, but im getting good with my pitching wedge i can hit it strait now and it goes about 75-80 yards.

Yeah I hear ya. Man if I went right now, I would be running people out of there, saying someone is shooting us with golf balls. I would be like, what it has been a while. So what if I have a bad slice, deal with it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

and what are the pros/cons of flexible and stiff shafts?

your gonna get flamed on that comment big time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

i will start it off by calling ya a shaft apprentice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

and what are the pros/cons of flexible and stiff shafts?
Graphite (Flexible)

They have more spring, and are a little more forgiving. Therefore, they give a little more distance but less accuracy.

Steel(Stiff)

These are my choice, since I dont really have an iron/distance problem. They lose a little yardage, but are more accurate.

Also one should choose the shaft that goes with their swing speed. I swing pretty hard, so if I use too soft of shafts I top the ball because of the flexing of the shaft.
