Not like you are guaranteed to make a profit buying individual stocks either...unless you have money to burn, I'd stay away from trading stocks...especially in the market right now.

$7 however im kinda pissed at them, I wanted to start trading 5 days ago buy they put a 3 day hold on my account. ****tards. citi went up 25 cents since then.

Only stock I own is of Owens Illinois (because I work there). When I started the stock was at about $6...it's now at $33 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif (and I haven't even been here a year)

I wish I would have bought more when I first started here because I would have made a killing...

I also bought 50 shares of Lenovo Group .... after watching coverage of CES and seeing a number of their products being showcased. hell its only .72 cents a share right now.

I just bought LNVGF Lenovo stock...at .70 who gives a shit right? I spent a whole $35 for 50 shares.

I was looking back at citigroup, last year before the crash it was a steady 45-50 for every year previous. Im sure it will come back, just might take a year.
