Any Dell XPS owners? Have a tech question...

I've owned a Dell XPS for about a year now, and other than being a portable desktop more than a laptop //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif, it's done everything I've wanted it to. However, I've got one question...I've got a spare helix feed that I'd like to mount on a spare 60cm dish and use it as a long-range Wifi antenna (or maybe a small Yagi for mobile ops) - but I can't find an external antenna connection on the laptop for an RF input. Does the wireless card only accept an internal patch antenna or something? If so, can the card be swapped out for another that does have a SMA or similar RF connector?

I'm thinking of ripping the stock card out and swapping in something else...would like to hear from others before I do, though.

This may be of no help. But Did you try the Dell forums? I got a lot of help from their forums about my laptop, all types of things, from just normal people not from the Dell reps. Worth a shot if you didnt already try that.
