Any Computer Gurus?

Here's the run down, I have several HD's.

1. 500 GB drive currently using as primary drive

2. 320 GB drive currently using as external (the one I was having issues with)

3. 120 GB drive my cousin gave me

4. 8.5 GB drive from old PC

5. 1.5 TB external (two 750 GB uses serial ata)

Anyhow, the 320 GB is the one that used to be my primary, and it would not start up. I decided to put it as master when hooking up as an external and it worked. I have all my data.

The one my cousin gave me wouldn't load up on his computer, I formatted it, it worked on mine then for some strange reason that drive, the 8.5 GB drive, and the 320 GB were not working. Now I have to decide whether I want a Serial to IDE converter and use the 1.5 TB in my PC or use the 320 GB and 500 GB drive in my PC.

Thanks to those who helped. I downloaded the Live CD just for backup purposes so I have a cd ready next time.
