any basketball fans in here?

i'm doing a small 5 min persuasive speech for a class and i'm going to say that basketball is the best team sport out there (mostly to play and a little of to watch)...ofcourse this is my opinion...

can you guys give me some things to argue about? So far I got two items:

1. It's convenient, you just need a ball to practice dribbling, a hoop to shoot around, and a couple of buddies if you want to play some games...you don't need a big field for football/soccer, a ice ring, or a diamond...

2. It's well balanced, you can be 5'4" or 6'8", there's a position for you...everyone gets a chance to score/steal/rebound/block/assist...in football, the qb, rb or wr gets most of the ball time/attention...pitchers and goalies have their special roles, they're unique...

can anyone else think of some reasons why they love basketball?

u pretty much have it down.. i would say its hard to make it pro just cuz of how small the teams are.. not like football or baseball. and hockey has a minor league team and they can have a few players not dress for the game.. so the small amount of players on each team can be what can hurt some one ..
