Anti-Theft Device Help

So, here's my situation. I have an anti-theft kill switch device installed on my car. In order to start the car I have to push a button on a device I keep on my keychain. Without receiving the signal from this device, the car will not start. I lost one of them and the other one just broke on me today, leaving me stranded at my house with no way to start my car.

The company that produces this device, Identity Inc, is no longer in existence and no one manufactures these so I cannot simply get new ones. Is there a simple way for me to disengage this anti-theft system without towing it back to the dealer? I know all of these kill-switch type devices are 'wired' differently, but I was wondering if you guys had any advice. Thx

well, i don't think it's legal for me to tell you how to bypass it. you need proof of ownership and matching state id to have someone do it legally. now, ont the other hand, if you do have the remote fob, then you may possibly be able to fix it so you can drive somewhere and have it bypassed/UN-installed..... how did it break? pics?

I understand the whole legality issue. The remote is not fixable, the tiny circuit board on the inside was completely crushed. I guess my best option is just to tow it in, hrmph. Thx for your help

If you have to ask how to bypass it (in the general sense), typed instructions may be difficult for you to follow. You could create even more hassle for yourself once one of us tried to explain what to do, and you tried to do the work.

It may actually be cheaper and easier (in the long run) for you to tow it.
